2015 was a good first year for Influence Matters. 9 months after founding the company, we have gained enough traction to attract the interest of major players in various tech fields, from mobile internet to semiconductor, gaming, and enterprise software, but also lifestyle. To respond to demand, we are looking to beef up our team in 2016.
We are currently looking for an Account Manager (5 years experience), an Account Executive (1 year experience) and interns for tech and lifestyle clients.
Account Manager
You will have a strong entrepreneur spirit, a great ability to build and take on projects that help solve client challenges independently, and love meeting people and building a network. You will be the company founder’s right arm, working in sync to build Influence Matters as a premier PR services firm for B2B tech companies. Experience in building and running media and social media campaigns for companies in semiconductor, enterprise software, mobile internet and app services or gaming industries will be a plus.
Your responsibilities will include developing and managing creative campaigns for international tech companies in China covering owned, earned and paid media and social media. You will help identify new business leads and develop proposals, and help market the agency through regular networking. You will manage and groom junior staff to support on client and new business work. This position requires a Chinese talent with very good English and 5 years experience in a PR role.
Account Executive
You will need a strong entrepreneur spirit, a great ability to learn fast and be able take ownership of tasks and conduct projects independently. You will report directly to the founder and an Account Manager who will support you as mentors to take your career to the next level.
Your responsibilities will include keeping track of communication trends and identifying opportunities to help client communication needs, build the agency’s relationship with media and social media influencers, assist in developing creative campaigns and content for clients and supporting new business development and the agency’s marketing. Experience in tech or lifestyle and technical skills with web, graphic or video design tools will be a plus. This position requires a Chinese person with great writing skills and very good English.
Internships
You will have a strong interest in media, social media and communications, an ability to identify relevant information through research, and good writing skills in Chinese and/or English. Technical skills such as web design, graphic design, videography will be a plus.
Your responsibilities will include supporting the research and translation of PR and marketing content (press releases, articles, social media post), supporting client media relations and events and maintaining and improving our, and clients’, websites and social media channels. Interns will experience all functions of a dynamic PR agency during long term internships (3 months minimum).
