We are incredibly proud to that Simon Vericel, founder & MD of Influence Matters, was recognized by the Holmes Report in their “Innovator 25 Asia-Pacific” class of 2017.

The Holmes Report’s Innovator 25 is already established as an important barometer of marketing and communications innovation since first launched in 2013. It identifies 25 individuals each year in North America, EMEA and, most recently, Asia-Pacific, who have elevated and evolved engagement and influence.
Simon, who founded Influence Matters in 2015, leads the agency with the vision that only great work can drive the agency’s growth. Earlier this year, the agency celebrated its second anniversary with the launch of a new motto for talent, “Do Work that Matters”, that embodies the agency’s mission: do work that matters for innovative clients who develop technologies that matter. Simon believes that breaking the traditional PR agency structures and offering fast, flexible and accessible PR services can better fulfill the business-driven needs required by today’s fast-growing tech companies. The team’s work was also recognized with Influence Matters being shortlisted for New APAC Consultancy of the Year for the second year in a row, once again the only China-based nominee.
Simon has been in China continuously since 2002, spending all of his career with two major international agencies before setting up Influence Matters. He is a geek, an entrepreneur, passionate about the mechanisms of influence, and can’t stay away from news portals.
He is also very active in the entrepreneur and startup scene in Beijing and China, as one of the core founder of La French Tech Hub Beijing, a French government supported organization that promotes French innovation and startups globally.
