Influence Matters is turning 5 this year!
We are launching our “Hi-Five” Project that will last for 5 weeks, starting from this week. Each week, this project will be highlighting a summary of amazing events that have happened in Influence Matters through photos, case studies, our wishes to the future of technology, clients and partnerships.
WEEK 1 | 5 TEAM PHOTOS
Simon took this photo on the first day of Influence Matters. The table sign with his name was used to mark the desk for him, and on the computer screen was the WordPress created by Simon for Influence Matters’ website.
Lucie was our account manager who managed our clients: Xiaohongshu, Bee7 and DayDayUp. Before Influence Matters, she worked at a larger American PR agency. Kefei was Influence Matters’ first junior associate. Lucie and Kefei were both Influence Matters’ first employees and they have both left since. Prior to hiring 2 full-timers, Influence Matters only worked with freelancers to run campaigns.
2018 was a fantastic year for Influence Matters. The agency won multiple marquee clients, experienced rapid growth in team size (from 4 people to 12 people!), and signed a few big projects towards the end of 2018. To celebrate these successes, the team went on a 2-day ski trip in Chongli, close to Beijing.
The first company seminar was held in the countryside of Beijing. Prior to the seminar, Influence Matters just launched its Shanghai team on April 2019 and it was a great opportunity for both teams to work together to reflect on previous OKRs, and launched their OKR future goals.
Due to COVID19, The team has to undergo 14 days quarantine. However, the strong team spirit kept them together and continued to help clients to communicate with their key stakeholders in China.

Let us all help by donating our idle second-hand devices to children in need!
We have partnered up with Project Guangyuan 光援计划 to collect second-hand phones, tablets, laptop and computer to be donated to children in the rural area who do not have the devices to attend online class during the pandemic. With the increasing number of schools shifting to online studies, many children in rural areas in China are facing financial issues and do not have the equipment to attend class online.
If you wish to help and donate your second-hand phones, tablets, laptop or computer directly to these children, please scan QR code on the poster above.
Please do not hesitate to email madeleine@inmatt.com if you have any questions regarding the donation project.
