Mastering industry events amplification

The rapid adoption of AI technology in China, especially in areas like mobile, XR, and industrial machine vision, presents opportunities for Prophesee to showcase its innovative solutions. However, each of these markets has its own dynamics and key players in China.  

With numerous companies vying for media coverage at tradeshows, it is difficult for a tech company to stand out from all the other big names and capture the attention of media without any product launch or announcements to make. Additionally, tradeshows like MWC or Vision China, the two events attended by Prophesee over the summer 2024, often feature multiple events, presentations, and activities happening simultaneously, making it challenging to schedule media visits and interviews around conflicting engagements. 

To assist Prophesee to enhance its visibility at different tradeshows and promote its cutting-edge event-based vision sensing technology in front of the press, Influence Matters team planned and organized timely media tours with different market story angles and arranged 1:1 media interview onsite, where the media representatives can experience Prophesee’s innovative product demos and technology firsthand and engage face-to-face with Prophesee’s CEO and China sales head.  

• At MWC Shanghai, we focused the stories on consumer tech including mobile and XR, demonstrating the value and innovation Prophesee’s EVS technology and product could bring the Chinese mobile and XR industry. 

• At VisionChina, we focused more on the industrial sector, telling the story that how Prophesee’s EVS technology and product could help to address the growing complexity and changes in industrial machine vision systems. 

To broaden Prophesee’s media reach and amplify its technological impact across varied market sectors, Influence Matters localized global press releases and crafted customized byline articles to align messages with local audiences. These materials were strategically distributed to targeted media outlets for maximum exposure. 

Additionally, leveraging Prophesee’s official WeChat account, the team curated and shared compelling social content to foster deeper engagement with the Chinese audience before, during, and after the tradeshows, ensuring a sustained and impactful presence beyond the event floors. 

157 clippings were generated from media tours, press releases, and byline articles, including 23 homepage placements on media websites, putting Prophesee and its notable technology and innovation in the spotlight of target industries in China. A significant 8% increase in WeChat followers in three months.
