Challenge

Winbond, a supplier of storage semiconductors for niche markets, has been mainly focused on IoT and wearable devices. However, the company was ambitious in entering the automotive field in Mainland China. Although the market is growing, the total market size of the niche is significantly lower compared to the mainstream market. Moreover, the niche market is highly competitive, based on mature technology, and Mainland Chinese domestic companies are rapidly catching up.

To reach a wider audience in Mainland China, Winbond sought a platform to engage with target developers, deliver their technology and application capabilities, and demonstrate its thought leadership in the semiconductor industry.
