The SIA recently released a report showing that global semiconductor sales in 2021 have set a full-year record with the industry’s highest-ever annual total and increased substantially across all major regional markets, as chipmakers have considerably ramped up production to address high demand. In addition, according to the SIA, China’s semiconductor year-on-year sales increased 21.4% in 2021, and has become a massive market that no company can ignore. At the same time, China is expanding its investment in its semiconductor ecosystem. Some industry insiders believe that China’s semiconductor industry is expected to enter a golden period of rapid development in the following 5 to 10 years as it works towards becoming a leader in cutting-edge chips.

This all makes coming to participate in industry tradeshows in China a crucial means for companies to enter the Chinese market or expand their business in China, connecting with engineers and decision-makers here. During the tradeshows, companies can more directly contact upstream and downstream manufacturers, huge industry audiences, and connect with more potential customers, which will significantly benefit the future work of the sales team. In addition to business development, participating in the tradeshow is also an excellent opportunity to expand brand awareness and present the leading image of technology innovation.
